There was nothing better than a city when the moon rose high and the lights all shone like stars, scattered about the ground in perfect arrays. It was a sight anyone would enjoy, and the only thing that could even so dare rival that was actually being there; in the night, under the lights of the hundreds, maybe thousands of buildings all around.

These were the times you actually liked the hot weather of Texas. Those nice moments where the two of you walked on the sidewalks, only wearing t-shirts and shorts. The stores all like walls to you and the people all around you; bustling about with so much life one would believe it wasn't nighttime. Sometimes, you would drag him; against his own will of course, into one of these stores, and you would try clothing on and off until you could see the faintest of smirks on his usually disinterested face.

Other times, you came with a reason; of course everyone knew that the Strider kid was one of the best DJs around. Sometimes you would walk the sidewalks with him until your approached a certain building which you had grown so accustomed to you might as well call it your night home. There, you would join the crowd as Dave went backstage. You always loved these nights, as much as you loved his music. He knew you did, and that you would always come those nights.

Sometimes, you two would just sit down at a park bench, watching the assortment of cars drive by with relaxation and sometimes urgency. You would watch people, couples, walk by and he would always place his hand on yours and even though you couldn't see those beautiful red eyes you knew he was looking right at you. You would scoot just a tad bit closer to him, and he would wind his arm around your waist and pull you closer; all those other couples couldn't compare to the warmth of being right beside him. Sometimes the both of you would refuse to separate from this position and it would take a while for you to get home, but Bro never cared. You've assumed his ignorance is his way of saying that he trusts you.

Some nights, none of the above is wanted, and you and the younger Strider would share those more personal moments. To say it felt wonderful was an understatement, and you wouldn't dare ask for another man more perfect. Of course these usually happened when Bro wasn't home, but he would come to the two of you sleeping, and he already knew.

You think some times that he’s watching you like a stalker or something but maybe he’s just that smart. No one cared if you slept there anyway; your sis and his bro were so used to it that they just stopped talking about it what so ever. You pretty much lived with Dave and his Bro. You don’t know how many shirts you have strewn somewhere across his room; or any other article of clothing for that fact. You always tell him he should clean his room sometimes but he’ll always reply with that adorable grunt of his and continue his work.

This life, this life casually made out of two people and the moon high up above the sky in a city that appeared like a blanket made of stars; was your life. And like hell would you ever change that.

//Throws this at you

This song is my new obsession. If you haven't already heard this song you need to go on youtube and find it like right now.
//flails arms about wildly

Me and my moirail share the huggy moments on the benches allot, sadly I actually do love him that way. He doesn't love me "that way" back. Well crap I think I'm using Dave as a way to get rid of these thoughts.
Guys I have a new obsession with Persona 3. But this is homestuck so I'll rant about it later. This will also be on my quotev because I'm going to take all of my Dave stories and compile them.
